What should we fix?
The defaults never change correct spelling. Hamza, taa marbuta and alef maqsura are for matching and search, so they do change spelling.
Leading, trailing and repeated spaces, and invisible direction marks
ی → ي, ک → ك
محمـــد → محمد
أَحْمَد → أحمد
أ إ آ → ا (changes spelling)
ة → ه (changes spelling)
ى → ي (changes spelling)
٠١٢٣ → 0123
